Our Story

The proud owner of Amanda's House of Elegance, Amanda Stewart, loves to inspire others through home decor. With a background in different aspects of design, and a love of flipping properties and buying rentals, opening a designer boutique was a natural progression for her. Home buying, selling, staging, and decorating have interested Amanda since her Mom put the first paintbrush in her hand. With encouragement and the support of her husband, family, and friends, Amanda hit the drawing boards for the creation of Amanda's House of Elegance. In May 2017 a test market location opened at 172 Ontario Street in Kingston Ontario. The feedback was overwhelming, locals and folks from surrounding areas, not to mention tourists, loved the home decor boutique. In fact, it was so well received Amanda decided to expand and open a much larger location at 70 Princess Street Kingston Ontario.
